I want to share a bit about my experience attending classes with maestro Jordi Albert. More than a teacher, I consider him a friend. I met him over 12 years ago, and he has always had an incredible ability to detail complications that are imperceptible to many. In 2023, we reconnected through Your Trumpet Studio, and the change since then has been very beneficial. He has fostered a body awareness that enhances sound production from my thoughts in a very simple way, resulting in a change in musical styles, interpretation, endurance, and musical qualities now relying more on neurological commands than physical aspects. In other words, I’ve found ways to focus my trumpet practice more on what I want to do rather than what I need to fix. With exercises in musical sensitivity, the approach to what we all dream of achieving on our instruments is increasingly within our reach through his knowledge. Always grateful to maestro Jordi Albert
